Alfie Haaland is a former Norwegian footballer who played as a midfielder. He was born on November 23, 1972 in Nottingham, England. Haaland began his professional football career with Bryne FK in Norway before moving on to play for Nottingham Forest, Leeds United, and Manchester City in the English Premier League.
Alfie Haaland is perhaps best known for a controversial incident involving Manchester United player Roy Keane during a match between Manchester City and Manchester United in April 2001. Keane famously admitted in his autobiography that he intentionally injured Haaland during the match as revenge for an alleged incident years earlier when the two players were at different clubs.
After retiring from professional football, Haaland has worked as a football agent and is the father of Erling Haaland, a highly talented young footballer who currently plays for Borussia Dortmund and the Norwegian national team. Alfie Haaland has been involved in his son's career and has played a key role in guiding him to success on the football field.
